Patrick Edward Shiplett

PATRICK EDWARD SHIPLETT of Macedonia, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2024.  Loving husband of Carol; cherished father of Michael (Lara) Shiplett, Sharon Potoczak (Steven), and Susan Palchesko (Bruce); adored grandfather of Halle and Patrick Potoczak, Elisabeth, Samuel, and Sarah Shiplett; dear uncle, friend, and neighbor of many. Preceded in death by his parents Whipple and Catherine Shiplett and 11 siblings.

Patrick spent his early years at St. Clare School in Mayfield Hts. where he served as an alter boy, sang in the choir, and met his young classmate Carol. He later graduated from high school in Twinsburg and reunited with Carol while in their mid 20’s. He spent most of his career as a foreman at the Chrysler Stamping Plant in Twinsburg. In retirement, Patrick and Carol enjoyed spending winters on the white sandy beaches of Siesta Key, FL and summers at the Twins Inn cottage in Vermilion, OH. Their lives revolved around their faith, family, and friends.

Funeral Saturday April 20, 2024, 10:30 A.M. at the funeral home, Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 A.M. Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Macedonia. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
